Spring Update

The kids in front of the house all ready for church.

Miranda turns 17
Man how time flies. Scary how fast they grow-up

Caleb turns 15
Caleb spent this spring like the two before on Crutches. This time he dislocated his knee cap. Which sadly, once it happens,it often reoccurs. He is off the crutches now and in to physical therapy.

THE EASTER BUNNY! I know this is just scary. The kids say they are still having nightmares.

Kari and I flew to Texas and actually tried out for the Amazing Race. She is crazy, and I can't say no, so it works. I do have to say it was an interesting adventure.

The line. We were in it for 21 hours. We Camped out under the stars with all the other crazies. It all came down to 1 minute in front of a camera. Pretty hard to show how awesome you are in one minute. No call back yet. :(

This is Kari's parents house. He is an engineer who builds theses houses. Great for tornado's I guess. Cheap to heat and cool too. I finally got to go inside.

Me & Joydell. It was great to see her. Micheal took this picture.
She seems so strong every time I see her I am amazed. Her Hair is growing back again and she is still working. She said Micheal asked her to pray that she wouldn't die. Maybe it is working.
As for me, I will be grateful for everyday she gets.

While I was gone the elementary school had a carnival. We never go to these but I signed up to volunteer at the putt putt station(thanks Harold for covering for me :) )I guess the kids entered a 'Guess how many x are in the box' to win an x box raffle.
This is Caleb finding out he won!

As we were walking out of the door Caleb said"Mom you know the truth, Logan won this. He just didn't have a phone # so i filled out the paper but it was his lucky number. Show when we got home we showed Logan what he had won
Showing Logan

So Happy together. Now they just wish their cousins were here to enjoy it with them. The fist thing Caleb said is "I have to tell Dan".

Oh so sad about Caleb. What is up with that happening every year? Congrats that he won something though.

I can't believe you tried out for the amazing race. Did you wear your Easter bunny costume? That would have probably clinched the deal. It looks like you have got yourself a perfectly crazy friend. How is it that you attract all the crazies? Just kidding. She sounds fun.

Glad you could see Joydell and that she is doing better.

P.s. I knew you were the one who reported us being bad parents. You called it in from New Mexico so I couldn't beat you up. Coward.

That Easter bunny picture is too funny. And if you get on the Amazing Race I will have to get cable for the first time in 5 years! You are not old enough to have a 17 year old...cause I know I'm not...SO scary for us both...:-)
