We had the opportunity to go on a Marriage retreat last week(yes, we had to take the kids) with Harold's unit. We had a nice couple of days in a nice hotel right near Mt. Sorak. They feed us some interesting food and we saw some sites. It was all paid for. All we had to do is sit through a 3 hour class taught by the unit chaplain. It was a little painful I'll admit, but still worth the reward.
We had a lot of fun. It was great to see some of Korea. Plus now our marriage is saved!

Yikes! Miranda looks my age now!...my favorite is the picture of Logan deep in meditative thought...very zhen.
Hmmm...when Darsha Stanley has a blog, anyone who has ever met her will want to read it! Seriously. I'm really glad to have some connection with you guys SO FAR AWAY.
Glad you got to do the marriage retreat, it looks good! We'll be going to one next week, but we have to find someone to watch the kids. (Kind of annoying, I'd rather just bring them). I'm with you that sitting through the class is worth the payoff. =)
Ah Darsha! I found you...wow Korea, hanging out at Buddhist temples. Our adventurous days have been smacked right out of us. Greg got out of the Army in July, and I think we are settled in washington state...it doesn't feel like we are going anywhere ever again. Your kids have gotten so big. When is the last time you karaoked?
You have such a cute family, I can't believe how grown up Miranda is now!
Hey Stanley Portkey- What an awesome name for your blog! I feel like, you know... Harry Potter right now. Or wait... No... Hermione. Cause ya she 's a girl.
ANYWAY, you need to set up your blog (in the settings) so you can receive all of your comments to your email. This way you won't miss any that may comment to old posts.
I am really jealous of your marriage retreat. Looks like fun.
I am so glad you and Harold finally got help. :-) Love the pictures of your family, glad to see you exist in yours--I'm usually behind the camera. Suzanne says you needed an invite to my blog or something--it's not private, just go to lindahowehome.blogspot.com. Korea looks really different than I expected even with Jer sending me the occasional picture when he was there. Looks like you are having an awesome time over there. I am freaking out a bit lately how fast the kids teenage years are going!--if you guys are there for 3 more years Miranda will nearly be an adult by the time you get back. That is SO weird. Has Caleb grown a lot?--I don't remember him being that tall.
Hello friend. I'm glad you updated. Logan was telling me the other day that he missed his first Logan friend. He has another Logan friend here in this ward, but apparently he's not as cool as your Logan.
And there you go.
Glad you and Harold can stay married. Phew.
